A Typical Morning and Evening Regime for Acne Trea

Morning Routine:

Step I: Medicated Pumice Wash/Scrub: Using a dime size amount of the product, add a little water and scrub gently. Avoid eye area at all times. Be sure to rinse thoroughly. 

Step II: Extra Strength Facial Wash: Using a dime size amount of the product and a little water, cleanse for one minute. Rinse thoroughly.

Step III: Glycolic Gel or 2.5% Salicylic Acid Solution: Using a small amount apply to skin. Let dry for 5 minutes.

Step IV: Moisture Balancing Cream: Apply to face where dry only.

Step V: Oil Free Sun Barrier- SPF 30 or Moisturizing Sun Barrier-SPF30: Always use sunscreen during the day, rain or shine.

** Women: Wait 5-10 minutes before applying makeup.

Evening Routine:

Step I: Same as Morning Step I

Step II: Same as Morning Step II

Step III: 10% Sulfur Masque: Using a small amount of product, cover ENTIRE face avoiding eye area for 10-20 minutes. Rinse well with cool water. The masque may sting, which is normal. Use nightly or every other night when beginning acne treatment.

Step IV: If areas on face/chest or back are inflamed, ice skin for 1-3 minutes, on inflamed area. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP.

Step V: 5% or 10% Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO) Medication: Using fingertips, apply a dime size amount of medication very sparingly to skin. Use only enough to rub invisibly into the skin. Do not use ANYWHERE near eye area. Avoid high cheekbone area. Put half above eyebrows and thin strips along hairline near temples and ears. Put on tip of nose to jaw line, avoiding lips. When beginning, use for only 60 minutes daily. Upon developing tolerance, use overnight every night. Gage your sensitivity.

Step VI: Rinse off medication, with cleanser(when building up to overnight use), thoroughly with cool water. Pat dry.

Step VII: SPOT TREAT: Apply BPO Medication, all over face.  Allow to dry thoroughly. Apply Sulfur Masque over the medication on tip of inflamed lesions only. Allow to dry thoroughly before going to bed. WARNING: BPO Medication will bleach clothing and bedding. Always use a white pillow case.
